Every year we enjoy going to the snow and playing. We decided to go up during Christmas break which was very crazy since it was extremely crowded. Luckily I work with someone who lives up there and told us the back way. We found an awesome location and had the best time sledding and throwing snowball at each other. It was about 28 degrees that day chilly , but the sun felt nice on your face. Daryl even made us hot chocolate to warm our insides. We will go back this time to ski and snowboard or shall I say attempt these things. It has been a long time so I am not sure if we will pick up where we left off or not.

This Christmas was wonderful. We enjoyed every moment of it with our family and friends. We had Christmas Eve at my grandma and grandpa's house. We always take photos and mess around outside the kids and I. Then we stayed at our home on Christmas and visited with all the neighbors and their families. What was so funny is that all the neighbors had tri-tip for their dinner. Our cul-de-sac was packed with fun times. The day after my aunt and cousin came out and we went to Victoria Gardens with my sister and the boys. Of course no trip there is complete unless you eat at the

I had just spent all day decorating our house puttin up the tree and placing the snow around our little christmas tress when I saw out of the corner of my eye this..... I gulped and reached for the camera and caught it all on film. He was havin a blast tearing it up and then laying on it. What Christmas is like with a 1 year old around.

This Thanksgiving we had a lot to be thankful for...... We have such wonderful friends who are like our family and a wonderful family who are our friends. We cherish what we have and truly enjoy the holidays. My sister got to fly down to be with us this Thanksgiving and it was great. We went and stayed with my mom and dad, since Daryl's mom is in the hospital. He was a great son and spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her and brought her food in the hospital. The boys and I had a relaxing time out at my parents place. I love taking photos at their house so scenic there.Well Christmas will be here before we know so I better get a move on it....

Brandon is getting ready to turn 1. He is so excited to be able to move around and climb on everything. He loves to sit outside with his pumpkins and roll them all over the place.

4 Our Kids Sake

This beautiful little baby named Kaitlyn Marie Russell was born in Feb 8, 2000. Exactly 10 years ago, todayAugust 15, her babysitter, left her in the car with windows rolled up and doors closed. When the police arrived, Kaitlyn's body temperature was 107. She passed away and is now an angel in heaven. This is a tragedy that should of never happened.! We must never leave our children in the car for any reason!

This has been a very busy and fun time for the Tanimoto's, we have be go go go all summer long. I think the baby is keepin us on our toes these days. At 9 months old now climbing on everything, babling saying mama and dada. Weighs about 20 lbs. Justin is 9 years now and in third grade. We love going to the beach and went last week to Corona Del Mar. Justin took the photo of Daryl and I above. Wow what an awesome photographer he is going to be...

We love the 4th of July holiday! It is so close to Justin's birthday and all the swimming and BBQ's. This year we stayed local due to the baby having an ear infection and getting teeth. We hung out at the neighbors pool all day and had a great BBQ. We put the kids to bed and the adults had a great time playing "Catch Phrase". I think next time though we need a referee....I even made my kids shirts to match this year now that I have two of them...
