We love summertime! We have had a wonderful summer to remember. We have done sooooo much and are very grateful for all we get to do. We love when Daryl comes home from work and has time to go swimming with us. We love eating ice cream on a hot summer night. We enjoy watching all the neighbor kids ride on their power wheels till the sun goses down. We will miss summer when it is gone ,but for now we are enjoying every minute of it!!

My day was absoulutly faboulous. Could not have asked for a better day. We first started off heading to Kelly's spa for a girls relaxation massage and lunch. Sonia and I got lucky and ran into each other on the freeway(literally) so we followed another there. Upon arrival you are greeted with a cool drink and given bathrobe and slippers to wear. We then head to the relaxation room where we waited for our massage therapists. They took us to a quaint little villa with a fireplace, huge bathtub with tv in it. It was wonderful the massage and we didn't want it to end. 50 minutes goes by fast when your having fun but not when you are working how come? We then retreated to the pool area with our magazines and Figi waters. After realizing it must be time to get back to the real world we went inside the women's retreat area and sat in the Eucalyptus steam room that was wonderful and cleasned our skin beyond belief and our sinuses. We then started to head back to go have a quaint little lunch at Mimi's when I receive this phone call from sonia saying how about "THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY" you don't have to twist my arm so we had a wonderful time there chatting and eating, eating and chatting. We then headed home to get our kids from school. But sunlight was still up and my neighbor Tricia asked if we should go to the Nordstrom half yearly sale so why not we went. There was nothing really on sale that was the worst 1/2 yearly sale I have ever been to from Nordstroms. We then went to Brighton one of our favorites stores. Then off to JcPenny where I struck diamonds. I had been looking for a dress that is formal enough to wear to a wedding and then to our cruise. I found two of them talk about lucky so I bought both. Then we couldn't pass up Ann Taylor Loft another favorite of mine and we scored there as well. What a day I had it was long deserved to have a girlfirend day!!!

Vision Of The Seas

We are so thrilled right now, Daryl just got done booking our family a cruise aboard the Royal Carribean "VISION OF THE SEAS" cruiseship. We had gone a cruise last June and had the absolute best time. So to be going again is fantastic more than we could ever imagine. We are so ready for this Mexican vacation we could hardly wait.

We had Justins 7th birthday celebration this last weekend. What a blast. There was a lot of kids and we rented a waterslide bouncer. Sooo much fun. We had a yummy cake. At the end we had a silly string fight with left the cul-de-sac a mess. But we had a great time!!!

Our family went to my mom and dads house for the 4th of July holiday. We had a great time playing darts, relaxing in the jucuzzi watching the sun set over the hills. We had a big BBQ on Sat which my mom made blue ribbon homemade pies yum yum!! She even mad homemade strawberry lemonade. It was sooooooo good!! What a great time shared by all even if it was 100 outside!

On these extremely hot summer days it is refreshing to cool off any way you can. We decided to run through the sprinklers like we did when we were younger. Justin, Daryl and Harley the black lab had a blast. And my yard got watered at the same time.

Happy 7th Birthday Justin

Happy birthday to our special boy who is now 7 years old today. Wow time flies by so fast and you are getting bigger each and every day. You always amaze us with how much you know and are always making us laugh. Sometimes I can not beleive you are ours with the embarrassing things you do. For instance when you jumped off the diving board and screamed out "That hurt my peanuts" everyone looked around and said did he say what I think he said. I just wanted to dive into the pool and not come up. But yes you are our little"Firecracker" and mom and dad love you sooooooooooo very much and we are proud of you!!!! Have a great birthday and we will party on the 12 with all our family and friends.

Our whole cul-de-sac and all the kids and relatives walked to our local park to see the carnival and the huge firework show that took place this weekend. The carnival was crazy with kids and people everywhere. We set up our spot for the fireworks early that day and people were still sitting pretty close to us. It was a jammed pack event and I never saw so many people at once from our community. The kids had a blast with all their friends and we loved the fireworks!!

We had Justin's photos taken for his 7th birthday that is coming up on July 1st. He is so excited to be turning 7 you would think he is getting a car or gets to date. He is not don't worry!! Just to be young again and have no worries except who to play with or which game should I play in my nintendo DS. Enjoy life little one for we all grow up way to quickly. Enjoy being 7!

Justin's Kindergarten class had a performace at Harada Elementary School today. They sang for the awards ceremonies. It was really cute and Justin did a great job. They sang the song:

You never know with Justin what he will do and he always adds a little pizazz to the end of his performances. Today was no different. It was too cute for words. Now he is going in to first grade!

Our family went to Huntington Beach with some good friends of ours that I actually grew up with. Tonya and I have been friends ever since she moved in across the street from me when I was five and she was 4. Well that is almost 30 years ago. How time flies! We went to the beach to escape the heat and it was a little cooler there not as much as we would have liked. but anything less than 100 is great!.

Justin has his private swim lessons for the next two weeks. After these are done we are taking a break and will be focusing on first grade. Justin is like a fish in the water. He loves to swim and thinks our neighbors pool is his own. Justin likes to show off in the water, jumping off the diving board is his favorite. If he pays close attention his coach said he would be great but Justin likes to play and do things that are fun.
